Samsung sues iPhone & iPad




Paris - Apple sued related to imitation of design, Samsung's behind retaliate by launching a patent lawsuit for Apple in France. Samsung alleges Apple violates his three patents on iPhone and iPad.

"This complaint focuses on three technology patents and is not in tablet design," said a spokesman for Samsung, the complaint was filed in the court of Paris in July. According to related sources, the Samsung that is allegedly infringed patents related to UMTS Apple, one type of third generation mobile network technologies.

Samsung's targeting the iPhone 3G, 3G, iPhone 4, iPad and iPad 2 in the lawsuit. Mean, almost all of Apple's mobile products to target the lawsuit, except the first generation iPhone.

Apart from in France, the Samsung also sued Apple in South Korea. Samsung asks Apple products banned in their home country's arena violated a number of patents owned by Samsung.

Samsung it self had a number of defeats in its legal case against Apple. Courts in Germany have banned 10.1 Tab Galaxy sold there as it is considered very similar to the iPad. Similarly, in Australia where Samsung had to postpone the sale of 10.1 Galaxy related legal problems with Apple.
