KINGSTON 64 GB SSD

SSD has a good performance according to the manufacturer claims. Physical SSD 2.5" that we received is a capacity of 64 Gb - the smallest capacity in the range SSDNow V + Kingston. Unlike previous series, V series + This package S3C29RBB01 - YK40 Sambung chipset, not the JMicron chipset.

However, this information is not written by Kingston, and was revealed when we open the case of SSD. Ind the chocolate box, also on a stricker on the body of SSDs, writing that the SSD is made in South Korea. Kingston memory using NAND MLC (Multi-Level-Cell), which requires cleaning of the data memory block before it can be written again. If the information is still entrenched in the block, the SSD should be cleaned first, and this creates additional latency. Fortunately, Samsung has a feature unique controller called the Self-Healing. So the drive can cleanse itself from the data that was deleted without governed by the operating system.

V + is claimed to be able to perform the write sequence (sequential write throughput) of 140 MB/S and reading the data (sequential read throughput) of 220MB/S. Benchmark HD Tach showed an average read speed of 210.6 MB/S, or nearly in accordance with the claim. Meanwhile he wrote speeds recorded 131.7 MB/S, with burst speed 254.2 MB/S. More test results can be seen in the table test. V + Kingstong SSDNow SSD 64 Gb SSD is to work fast when reading and writing as his claim. When the capacity of 64 Gb feels less, Kingston provides a capacity of 128 Gb and 256 Gb. The latter was mentioned having a higher writing speed.
