ASUS Eee PC 1000 And 1000H




The success of Asus with its Eee PC Lineup will probably continue. Especially with the launch of two new models of the Eee PC Lineup in a computer exhibition in Taipei, Computerx 2008. Both new models are the Asus Eee PC Asus Eee PC 1000 and Asus Eee PC 1000H. Second series of the new Asus Eee PC this feature 10.2 inch screen with Intel's Atom Processor.
The basic specifications of the Asus Eee PC 1000 is as follows:

  • Built-in Bluetooth wireless
  • 1.3 megapixel camera

  • 6 cell battery for 4.2 - 7.8 hours of life.
  • Weight 1.33 Kg (2.93 lbs)
While the series 'twin' of the Asus Eee PC 1000, that the Asus Eee PC 1000H has a little difference in the use of harddisk instead of using SSD. That's why this series has the suffix 'h', there by becoming the Asus Eee PC 1000H series. It has the same specifications with its twin series, Asus Eee PC 1000, the difference is only in 80 Gb hard disk storage capacity that makes the series Asus Eee PC 1000H is a bit more weight. In addition, Asus Eee PC is also accompanied by OS windows XP Home Edition, with battery life around 3.2 to 7 hours according to Asus.

Still new from Computex 2008 in Taipei, Asus also announced the Asus Eee PC 901 specification update. This series has similar specifications to the previous series, except in the case:
